The User Experience & Design team in Karnov Group is a small team working closely together with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers and Business Development to achieve company and product goals. The team is part of the Technology Organization, that includes a diverse bunch of people from various parts of the world all aiming to deliver the best possible solutions for our users and for having a fun and inspiring day, every day.
About the job | Create design solutions and experiences
As our new Senior Product Designer in the User Experience & Design team you create best-in-class design solutions and experiences for our current and future products, including user research, UX & UI design. You are involved in the definition of new initiatives and features - and take initiative to relevant design changes to accommodate high usability and relevance for our users. You participate in building our future design vision through further development and maintenance of our design system. You collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers and Business Development to achieve company and product goals, and you collaborate with developers during implementation for a seamless handoff and quality assurance.

- Stay up to date on design trends and best practices, as well as competing products within the legal industry
- Share relevant design knowledge in team and companywide – as well as support and contribute to a collaborative design culture
The role reports to Head of User Experience & Design.

You will succeed in this role if you are passionate about digital design, and if you enjoy working with the entire design process from research to launch. You get to use your solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, UX and UI and to use your experience in working with design systems daily. You believe that your designs get better when inviting multiple perspectives from both in and outside the design area and you bring your strong collaborative skills into play working closely together with various stakeholders. You value being part of a team and the benefits and joy of mutual learning. You use your strong communicative skills when effectively communicating design ideas, rationale, and concepts to colleagues and stakeholders outside the design department.
Besides the above you
- Have 5+ years proven experience as digital product designer and a portfolio demonstrating your skills and attention to details
- Are proficient in Figma
- Can collaborate with developers during implementation for a seamless handoff and quality assurance
- Have a keen interest in or experience with user research and usability testing
- Don’t necessarily have knowledge of legal systems, but you do have the motivation and tenacity to learn, in order to design complex tools for specialists
- Are used to English as your primary working language
